Ms. Isatu Kamara joined the bank as a mortgage officer in 2014, with responsibilities of assessing the creditworthiness of mortgage applicants, analyzing financial documents, and verifying income and employment information.

In December 2016, she moved to the public sector unit as acting head and was made substantive in 2017. Ms. Isatu Kamara joined the Risk Management Department as Head of Credit Analysis in February 2020 and later as Head of Credit Risk in 2022 and was then promoted to Head of Risk Management to date.

Ms. Kamara’s areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, credit analysis, operational risk, financing for non-finance managers, customer service, and regulatory relationship management.

She holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting (MFA) and a B.Sc. in Financial Services, both from the University of Sierra Leone.
