Mr. Kekura Keita joined Commerce & Mortgage Bank (SL) Plc in 2020 as Head of Corporate Banking. In 2022, he was promoted to Head, Business Development, a role he occupies to date. Mr. Keita’s customer-centric focus and passion for business development are evident from his previous roles in the industry, where he commenced banking as a relationship manager in 2009. He served as a profit center manager and a branch manager and was later promoted to head of public-sector banking. His career growth in the early days in banking was a testament to his passion to onboard major businesses and high-net-worth customers for the bank.

His deposit mobilization and customer onboarding leadership strategy at Commerce & Mortgage Bank has, over the years, directly contributed to the bank’s customer base and profitability.

He holds an MBA—marketing major—from Njala University and a B.Sc. in accounting from the University of Sierra Leone.
