Mr. Alpha Umaru Bah joined Commerce and Mortgage Bank (SL) Plc on the 4th of July, 2011, as an assistant manager in the Credit/Mortgage Department. He is an experienced and skilled banker and has been in the industry since 2008, when he started his career in the financial industry and later joined CMB. His 13 years at the bank have earned him a lot of experience, ranging from banking operations, credit and risk management, control, finance and treasury, and now internal audit at Commerce and Mortgage Bank (Sierra Leone) Plc.

Mr. Alpha Umaru Bah has served as head of internal audit and control since February 2017. He holds a BSc. (Hon.) in Accounting from the University of Sierra Leone (2007) and  has been an affiliate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2015.
